North Yorkshire Public Health team have developed a workplace wellbeing award (which is free to access) which schools may want to consider participating in fully, as schools are a workplace for many adults. Some key aspects from the award that closely link with the Healthy Schools award are set out below for schools to consider within a whole school approach to health & wellbeing. These must be completed and uploaded as part of the submission for the Silver level of the Healthy Schools award and met and maintained inorder to achieve the Gold level award.
