The North Yorkshire & York Healthy Schools award covers four key themes which you can chose to work on in any order. These are :

Taking acion to support the health & wellbeing of all staff
Once you have chosen your first theme to work on, download and use the action plan template which details each criteria and any further evidence required for each theme. The action plan needs to be completed as an electronic document and uploaded as evidence towards completing the theme criteria; once they have all been met.
Submission Dates
There are three submission dates each academic year
The award levels are
Bronze Award
Complete the criteria for one theme, uploading one action plan with accompanying evidence.
Silver Award
Complete all criteria for two themes, uploading two action plans with accompanying evidence for each theme. Also complete the Staff Wellbeing section.
Gold Award
Complete all criteria for four themes, uploading four action plans with accompanying evidence. Also maintain Staff Wellbeing criteria.
Gold Renewal Award
For schools that have held the Gold Award for three years this award confirms the schools ongoing commitment to a whole school approach to health and wellbeing for pupils and staff.
Platinum Award
For schools that have achieved the Gold or Gold Renewal award by engaging in the Platinum Award a school can focus on their identified health and wellbeing priority that supports outcome for the whole school community.
