York Mind
A leading local provider of services supporting individuals recovering from mental ill-health to achieve outcomes that will progress them towards recovery, social inclusion and integration in mainstream activity such as learning, volunteering or employment. They offer 1 to 1 mentoring for children and young people aged 8-13, 1 to 1 counselling for young people aged 12-25 and facilitate Dramatherapy Groups and other specialist groups.
Wellbeing in Mind School Support Service
Provide direct support for young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties within the school environment. They also provide advice, support and training to school staff on wellbeing issues; forming a link between the school and other services supporting the child
