The Public Health team at City of York Council, in partnership with the University of York, is again conducting a survey on the health and wellbeing of children and young people in York. The survey is free and open to all state-funded primary, secondary, and sixth-form schools, including academies.
It will cover pupils in Years 4 and 6 (primary) and Years 8, 10, and 12 (secondary/sixth-form) and will run from Monday 2nd March 2026 – Friday 17th July 2026. Schools will receive their reports in the first half of the Autumn term 2026. Participation provides valuable insights to better understand children and young people’s health and wellbeing and what it’s like growing up in York today.
