Modeshift Active Travel Ambassadors
Modeshift’s Active Travel Ambassadors programme empowers students to lead the way in promoting walking, cycling, scooting, and public transport at their school. Ambassadors raise awareness, inspire their peers, and help make journeys to school safer, healthier, and more sustainable.
Through fun campaigns, events, and peer-led initiatives, students develop leadership skills while supporting their school community’s move towards active travel.

WOW Living Streets
WOW, created by Living Streets, is a year-round walk to school challenge that encourages children and families to travel actively every day. Pupils record how they travel to school, and those who walk, wheel, scoot or cycle at least once a week earn a fun, collectable badge each month.
WOW has been fully funded for North Yorkshire and York schools to take part for free by Active Travel England.
