School Sport Action Plan (July 2023)
This action plan sets out a joint commitment from the Department for Education (DfE), Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport (DCMS), and the Department for Health and Social Care (DHSC). The overarching aim is that all children have the opportunity to take part in at least 60 minutes of physical activity every day.
Active Lives Survey Children and Young People
The Active Lives Children and Young People Survey runs on an annual basis. Each term, a number of schools are randomly selected to take part with the aim of getting 100,000 children and young people in Years 1 to 11 to complete it each academic year.

The qualification is an effective use of the physical education and school sport premium funding; by up skilling primary school teachers it will ensure a sustainable legacy which will impact on children and young people
